FReadom to Read

Two site posts in a row about our Library remaining a Safe and sound Space for our LGBTQIA+ kiddos. Why? Because we are aggressively passionate about currently being allies to our young children. Also, the information is chock comprehensive of alarming illustrations in which mom and dad, school districts, and communities are NOT supporting the independence to examine. The democratic freedom to give ALL kids the alternative to discover textbooks without the need of censorship or boundaries.

It boils my blood! Why does it look like we are heading backwards with FREADom to read through?

So, I preferred to give you (dear reader!) an instance of our Pleasure Month book display, our list of Fiction guides, and how we endorse it to our kiddos. Most of this write-up is copied from our Daring University Library Web site, Instagram posts, &

1 of my most respected Library pals, Laura C. Davies (Enjoy her!) who I fulfilled when I was keynoting the ASTE Tech Convention in Anchorage Alaska had this to say on my Instagram write-up:
