Four New Positive COVID-19 Cases At Millburn Schools

MILLBURN, NJ – Millburn Township Public Schools has released coronavirus data across its schools for Jan. 19 to Jan. 22.

In the week of Jan. 19-22, there were four positive COVID-19 cases at Millburn schools, and 55 people in quarantine, the school district announced.

To date in the 2020/2021 school year, there have been a total of 77 positive cases across all of the schools, and 506 people in quarantine.

“Positive” refers to someone with a laboratory confirmed positive test and “quarantining” refers to someone who has been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 and is physically distancing themselves from others for a specific amount of time.

The breakdown of positive cases at Millburn schools for Jan. 19-22 is as follows:

  • Deerfield: 1 positive case
  • Glenwood: No positive cases
  • Hartshorn: No positive cases
  • South Mountain: 1 positive case
  • Wyoming: 1 positive case
  • Washington: No positive cases
  • MMS: 1 positive case
  • MHS: No positive cases
  • EdCenter: No positive cases

The breakdown of people in quarantine at Millburn schools for Jan. 19-22 is as follows:

  • Deerfield: 5 people in quarantine
  • Glenwood: 1 person in quarantine
  • Hartshorn: 13 people in quarantine
  • South Mountain: 5 people in quarantine
  • Wyoming: 1 person in quarantine
  • Washington: 3 people in quarantine
  • MMS: 16 people in quarantine
  • MHS: 9 people in quarantine
  • EdCenter: 2 people in quarantine
