Written by Mamie M. Arndt

The BBC will be lending parents, who are homeschooling their children, a helping hand next week.

The broadcaster revealed it would be airing educational programmes for all children up to secondary school age starting next week.

This will come as a big sigh of relief for parents who are feeling the pressures of home learning.

Starting on Monday, January 11, there will be at three hours of curriculum-based programmes for primary school children each day on CBBC.

For secondary school-aged kids, there will be at least two hours on BBC Two.

There is also a schedule for pre-school children on Cbeebies.

Some huge celebrity names have been announced as taking part in the teaching as Celebrity Supply Teachers.

They include Sir David Attenborough, Brian Cox and Liam Payne.
